Let me start off by welcoming you to my wee corner of the internet. My name is Grant Dickie and I am a graphic designer and illustrator. I grew up in Aberdeen, Scotland and graduated from Robert Gordon University (Gray's School of Art) with a BA(Hons) degree in Communication Design. I started my creative career as a little nipper drawing my favourite Pokémon. As I got older my drawing skills improved and I spent a lot of time drawing anything and everything!

My early obsessions from childhood have shaped my life and the way in which I work. I'm sure anyone who knows me will agree I'm a huge geek at heart. Music is also a huge influence to my process.  I have a wide taste in music and can find certain atmospheres to fit with certain projects.

Travelling and experiencing culture is a strong passion of mine and I like to think I can use what I've learned there to further my design skills and inspiration. I haven't visited too many countries just yet but I want to visit as many as I can! History – especially ancient history – has always been an interest of mine, from the mythology and stories, to their design styles and even the mechanics they created and adopted to help form their art or structures. I also have strong interests in photography, art and architecture.

If you like what you see in my profile and have an idea for some work then let's work together!
